A Marketer's Guide to...
Media Training for Attorneys:
How to Safely Use the Press to Get More Business
Getting lawyers in front of the media in a strategic and consistent way brings in business and raises the firms profile. But with every interview comes risk misquotes, bad quotes, or no quotes at all!
In response, many law firms have instituted formal media training programs to teach partners the rules of the road for dealing with the press and how to use interviews to develop business. This training also helps marketers uncover hot legal topics or business problems each lawyer can discuss and always gets partners excited about talking to the media.
Media training makes it easier for everyone to do their jobs. Partners that know the rules and understand the process usually get the quotes they want and are more likely to look forward to interview opportunities!
Special Note: Register by March 9 and an attorney from your firm might just be selected to receive a live "Mini Media Training Session" during the conference. (We'll choose a firm to participate and work out the details prior to the conference.)
