Former Jiffy Lube Franchisee Settles Sex Harassment Lawsuit
The Oil Shoppe, Inc., a former Jiffy Lube franchisee in Lynwood, CA, has settled a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit filed by three female employees for $299,000. The settlement was announced by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in early August. Jiffy Lube International, the franchisor, was not held liable.
