Southern District Expands Electronic Case Filing System
Beginning March 1, 2004, 21 Southern District judges began participating in the district's Electronic Case Filing (ECF) system. Eleven other judges in the Southern District, as well as all of the magistrate judges, had already been using the ECF. All the judges participating in the ECF will assign newly filed civil cases to ECF. Attorneys seeking to prepare to litigate cases on ECF can get information on the court's Web site, located at www.nysd.uscourts.gov.
