Verdict Sheets Lead Jurors Astray

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the second Circuit reversed and remanded in this malpractice/medical negligence/battery case because verdict sheets given to jurors were illogical and may have led the jury to arrive at incorrect conclusions that prejudiced both the plaintiff and the defendant. Armstrong v. Brookdale Univ. Hospital and Medical Center, 2005 U.S. App. LEXIS 20269 (2d Cir. 9/21/05).
