The Minneapolis firm of Lommen, Abdo, Cole, King & Stageberg PA announced it will expand into New York by bringing in veteran music lawyer Bob Donnelly to head up a Lommen Abdo office in Manhattan. Lommen Abdo's entertainment practice is overseen by Ken Abdo and Dan Sartorious. Abdo is currently National Chair of the Grammy Foundation's Entertainment Law Initiative and well-known in the music industry. Sartorius has focused on independent films. Donnelly has established himself in artist rights. He recently worked on litigation that involved then-New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer and resulted in $55 million back-royalties for recording artists.
