Kirkland & Ellis LLP announces that Patrick J. Nash, Jr. has joined the firm as a partner in the Chicago office in the Restructuring Practice Group. Nash has been practicing for 13 years. He spent the past nine years with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he was a partner in the Corporate Restructuring Group. He has acted for a variety of companies including VeraSun Energy Corp. and Service Merchandise Co. in their Chapter 11 bankruptcies; Meridian Technologies in its cross-border restructuring; and Krispy Kreme Corp. in the restructuring of its troubled franchisees. Nash has also represented investors in and acquirers of distressed assets as well as secured lenders in debtor-in-possession financings and out-of-court debt restructurings.

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP has named Daniel Williams as a partner in the firm's U.S. Restructuring and Recovery Services practice. Williams previously served as the office managing partner of RSM McGladrey, Inc., a large regional accounting firm in the Phoenix metropolitan area, as U.S. Managing Partner of Deloitte & Touche's Restructuring Services Group in New York, and he led Arthur Andersen's Chicago restructuring practice which, at the time, was the largest restructuring practice in the Chicago marketplace.

Anderson Kill & Olick, P.C. has announced that Todd E. Duffy, a former principal of Duffy & Atkins LLP, has joined Anderson Kill as head of the firm's Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice. A veteran of the bankruptcy practices of several major New York law firms, including Greenberg Traurig LLP, Mr. Duffy formed his own firm in 2005 and built a national practice. Joining Mr. Duffy at Anderson Kill is Dennis J. Nolan, formerly an associate at Duffy & Atkins.
