Lorinda Church has been named the new general counsel for FranchisEsource Brands Intl., the multi-brand system that includes The Entrepreneur's Source, AdviCoach, ERC, Business Partners, and DEcor and You. “My first priority at FranchisEsource Brands is to increase value to our franchisees through monitoring of our trademarks and proprietary information and protecting the value of our brands and their investments by preventing competitive activities that harm them,” she told FBLA. “Other priorities include working with the business side to decrease legal costs, increase team awareness of regulatory and statutory requirements, streamline and standardize system-wide compliance monitoring and response, and implement procedures and policies for resolving disputes effectively and in the most cost-effective manner.
