Beth Stern Fleming has left the Philadelphia office of Stevens & Lee to form her own firm, Beth Stern Fleming, LLC. The new firm will concentrate on real estate; business; contracts; equipment leasing; creditors' rights, workouts and bankruptcy; education law, disability law; and dispute resolution. Prime Trailer Leasing of Denver has purchased OnRamp Trailer Services from CR England. As part of the acquisition, the company is dropping the word “Leasing” from its name and will be known simply as Prime Trailer.

U.S. Bank of Minneapolis has named Anthony Cracchiolo president and CEO of U.S. Bank Equipment Finance. Cracchiolo will lead and oversee all operations of U.S. Bank Equipment Finance, which is composed of nine business units delivering products and services through both direct and vendor channels. The direct businesses now under his leadership include capital equipment, small business, technology finance, government leasing and finance. He will report to Sal Maglietta, executive vice president, U.S. Bank Specialized Finance. Cracchiolo joined U.S. Bank Equipment Finance in 2007 and has been leading the organization's businesses in the vendor channel since 2011.

Scott Finlinson has joined South Jordan, UT-based Onset Financial, Inc. as its corporate counsel. Finlinson was formerly a shareholder with the Salt Lake City law firm Ray Quinney and Nebeker. Founded in 2008, Onset Financial is an equipment leasing and financing company specializing in providing a full range of funding options.

The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) has awarded Michael Tobak, senior vice president and general counsel at GE Healthcare Financial Services, the Edward A. Groobert Award for Legal Excellence. The award recogizes Tobak's contributions to the equipment leasing and finance industry, and the association's Legal Committee.

Fountain Partners of San Francisco announced it has provided a total of $13 million in equipment lease lines of credit to DigitalOcean, a cloud provider. The lease lines are expanding DigitalOcean's data centers worldwide, including new centers in Amsterdam and Singapore, as well as their first center in London, opening this summer. DigitalOcean currently has more than 200,000 users, six data centers, and plans for additional centers in cities. The company has raised equity capital from IA Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz.
